The Year of the Rooster

Happy New Year to all who live with the Chinese calender ~ the year of the Rooster now.
Couldn't get my act together today and thus missed the NY celebrations in Rotterdam and Den Haag, where I'd planned to go to. Did see my sista & BIL with their granddaughter when we visited mum and the little girl was in everybody's spotlight there with her jumps and dances.

thank you all for your compassionate reactions upon Cynthia's farewell service, her sister told me the family felt support from the enormous turn out.
