A previously popular pub in Newhaven.

Newhaven has been in decline for some time, no supermarket or food shop in the town centre now.  A tight ring road circles the High St, with walkways and underpasses which are not attractive places to be. This in spite of the fact it is administered by Lewes District Council which seems to ensure Lewes itself is well looked after.
