They just wanted it to go on... and on...

We zoomed south to Newcastle this afternoon to see Declan headlining this time. With an album out in a couple of months he was able to play much more tunes than in his support slot in Glasgow last October.

This time Mrs C accompanied Ms H, Ms R and myself, so being the oldies, but NOT the oldest, we let the kids head off to the front and they ended up just in front of Declan here. What a gig, so much energy and fun, more so than any I can remember for some time! Oh to be young...

So the last song ended up with some stage invaders and shock horror the girls managed to get up there - one of the extras shows Ms H next to Sofia and Ms R is off on the left of the blip.

Post show, they had a few minutes with Declan again and surprisingly he remembered he had met them before - wow, that just made their night. The final extra catches that moment. 2 and a half hours back up the road and we were home... I think earlier than our night out in Glasgow last night!
