Happy Austin

Today is my grandson's birthday. He's turned twelve and is getting ready to enter sixth grade in the middle school next week. But first he needs to make a wish and blow out all his birthday candles.

He wanted penne vodka sauce with meatballs for dinner so of course Grandma Mich obliged him. I even used the Grey Goose since it was a special day after all!

He was happy as a clam with his presents and all the kids are off playing Sonic the Hedgehog on his new Star Wars version of xbox Connect. I'm watching a brilliant film called "Salmon Fishing In The Yemen" It stars Scotttish actor Ewan McGregor, whom I can say without a doubt, would be on my birthday wish list if I had one.
