Chinnar River

Peaceful morning slowly exploring bank of Chinnar river which forms border between Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Plenty of spectacular birds (including Serpent Eagle) and a whole family of lemurs crossing above the river through the tree canopy........and a 1 m long snake.
Extra is view through car window on unbelievably twisty road, through tea plantations east of Munnar (alt. 1,700 m).
