Clyde Bridge
The three-span Clyde bridge at Motherwell crosses the river Clyde and takes road traffic from M74 to the 'steel town'
Built in 1928 appropriately by the Motherwell Bridge & Engineering Company.
The company in its hey day was involved in many big engineering projects at home and overseas, including Glasgow Central Station and Hunterston Nuclear Power Station.
