I did my Big Garden BirdWatch from my kitchen window this morning between 10am-11am.  Trust Hop-a-long to hog the limelight.  Other than him in the allotted hour, were:-

15 House Sparrows
5 Blackbirds
2 Robins
1 Pied Wagtail
and Hop-a-long with 3 other mates.

Sadly, the other usual suspects:  Starlings, Collared Doves, Goldfinches, Blue Tits, Crows and Magpies didn't grace us with their presence within the allotted hour.

#1 daughter paid a welcome visit this afternoon so all good intentions for planned mundane tasks went to pot - excellent timing! and lots of lovely chat and a big catch up were much more pleasurable.

Mr T is home after a good weekend at the Gliding Club, no flying today but an hour or two yesterday, to keep his passion topped up and his good nature restored!
