This weekend has revived some memories

My daughter married her American husband November 2013 in the USA (to ensure she was covered by a spousal visa - in place of her student visa)
I organised a UK blessing for April 2014

Before booking flights they checked with the authorities and were told if she left the USA she would probably not be allowed back in

I cancelled the do - lost my deposit - but at least she was with haer husband
She now has a green card but it appears they can be ignored!!!

This is her favourite cake - apparently she can't find it in NY
