Snow Shoeing, For a Change

After a day's ski touring yesterday we thought we would have a change and take Piper along for a snow shoe walk today interupted lunch in a mountain refuge. Very enjoyable it was too. You can see from the photograph by the number of rocks showing through that the snow cover is getting very scarce and we could certainly do with some! This is especially so as the World Championships start in St Moritz next weekend.
