Twilight Color--Paris 13th
Our 13th arrondissement in Paris has many graffiti and wall paintings (no definite distinction between them); this view is less than ten minutes walk from our apartment (I've put it on the map), and it was five minutes after the 17:44 sunset (well behind buildings to our left). It was a dedicated 20 minute blipstroll, at the end of a day with thin clouds, but blue sky had mostly taken over.
The big event of the day was the historic match between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in the final of the Australian Open; seeded 17th and 9th respectively, neither was expected to get that far--especially not Roger in his 36th year, returning from an extended injury layoff. But he won, 6-3 in the fifth set for his 18th victory in a major--laying more claim than ever to being the greatest of all time (Marylee certainly thinks so:)
