In The Occupied Territory

Lust for life

The usual misfortune we have when getting something to eat on out days off continued today.
We decided to drive to Fochabers to the garden centre. After having a look round, we headed to the Teapot restaurant situated therein for coffee and a sandwich.
It was 1 minute past 4.
They stopped doing sandwiches at 4, only serving meals or cakes etc.
So carrot cake it was.

What to do next then.

June suggested going g to the cinema.
We could have driven all the way back to Aberdeen, but opted instead to drive further west to the Moray Playhouse in Elgin, where we saw T2 Trainspotting.

It was really good with a stunningly great soundtrack.
The Cinema itself was a fabulous throwback to the past, with tickets and snacks sold at the same desk.
Well worth the 50 mile or so journey.
