BIRTHDAY WISHES

To my friend Marie who reached the grand age of 92 today, asked her to come down early before she went to church so that we could mark the occasion with a portrait we could send to her family, not necessarily this one.
Dearest wanted to go over to Colne to the mill shop this afternoon, not my idea of a day out, but to be fair the cafe did serve me up a very nice pastramie sandwich (take your pleasures when you can).
Finished the day with a longish call to my big sister, dont keep in touch with her or my other siblings very often so my resolution for this year is to try to keep in touch.....otherwise I'll have no one at my funeral!
