Recession??

I've been coming down here to work from time to time, for the past six years or so and I can't believe how it has changed.

Back into work mode once again - awake at silly o'clock despite the good night guarantee - so took a stroll down to the new marina area at first light.

Almost everything in sight is new-build. Cafes, hotels, leisure complexes, supermarkets etc along with hundreds of new apartments, all of which seem to be sold or at least reserved off plan, ( I was tempted to look at one of the show-apartments but no doubt could not afford the front door!)

Whatever is going on down here, they're doing well at it!

Pleasant walk, gentle breeze, and the sun just peeping through the clouds. Not a bad start to the day so far.

Could be in St Tropez!
