Hunting for food

A lovely, not too hot and no wind day today. I got the groceries then apart from a wee walk at the estuary, I didn't go out again all day but pottered around home catching up on jobs.

I picked the first blueberries today - got around two cups full and there is still plenty more to come. The bushes are growing really well here and are still young . They are going to be a real asset.

I captured this pied stilt hunting for food in the gloop, but didn't see the chick today. I hope it hasn't been gobbled by a falcon from above or an eel from below.
