Even moorhens slip and slide ......

...... when their lovely loch is frozen and there are breadcrumbs lying on the ice.

A heavy frost during the night and the car looked a bit like an igloo this morning. I don't like using de-icer so I took a fair bit of time to scrape the windscreen and windows.

The lapwings were huddled together on the ice but they were just too far away to get a decent photograph although I did try.
