Emberton Park
Yesterday, it was mum's 70th birthday (I know I'm not supposed to say it again after last night, mum, but, just for the record ;-) ). We shared a fabulous evening together at the Teppanyaki Japanese restaurant in Leeds. It was entertaining, delicious food and, as usual, a special evening of wonderful company.
Today, we headed south to Rich's parents and enjoyed a late afternoon walk around Emberton Park. Peter tried out his new scooter and we were all dashing after him trying to keep up! It was fun and lovely being able to share an afternoon outdoors with both of them.
It was going to be a full house for Chinese takeaway night but with Chris's scratched eyeball, we went round to see them instead as it was mighty uncomfortable.
After reduced numbers at dinner, Scrabble finished off the evening nicely.
