Thistle

Serious lack of options today. It was raining at lunchtime so I only managed a short walk.

The photo is a black and white image of a thistle in the closely cropped verge. The tiny hairs on the leaves had trapped the rain droplets and, while they looked interesting in colour, the picture looked more eye-catching in b&w.

I've dusted off an ancient Fuji digital camera which I'm considering putting to use. It's a bit big and bulky to but the lens is significantly better than my phone and there is a 10x zoom. I just need to decide if I can be bothered to lug it round with me!
