Where did the sun go?

We can usually see the sea from this balcony but late this afternoon the cloud descended over Madeira and the sea, followed by heavy rain! However, before that we had a big lunch at a sunny pavement cafe, followed by a very interesting walking tour of the old town with a history student from the university. Finished just as the weather changed. So, we relaxed indoors for the evening with books and Madeira wine.
