The Big Celebration

I had a fantastic day at Lendrick Muir. The Big Celebration is SU Scotland's annual day of thanksgiving and it was great getting to catch up with folk I don't get to see very often. I was on the powerpoint which was a little scary. There were a few hiccups but it mainly went smoothly. Elaine Duncan from the Bible Society spoke about bringing out the God flavours and God colours in our lives which was fab. The rain stayed off long enough for us all to have our lunch outside. This photo is of the children in the afternoon session telling the adults what they'd been learning about all day. One little girl described knowing God like wearing glasses - being able to see clearly - which was just fantastic. Children come out with the best things sometimes. Then there was a disco ceilidh in the evening which was so much fun!!
