Difficult day at work today. New online system for paying staff put in place and apparently I have to authorise nearly everyone in the building's time sheet. What someone failed to tell me was that no notification of authorisation needed would be sent. So here I am thinking I would know when someone had logged their hours worked but oh no apparently "I" have to log on every day to check!! Result some of my colleagues, and of course it would be the lowest paid, didn't get paid. Gutted!! Why is it when someone offloads a job they should be doing they don't give proper instructions for those who have no choice but to do it!!
