Snow business
After a hiatus caused by a laptop problem (more later), it’s back to normal on the Blip front. The weather wasn’t as good as we hoped on the second, but 4 of us set out for a couple of Marilyns near Kylerhea. It started bright, but soon we got into mist on the first hill, Sgurr na Coinnich. It was damp snow underfoot and once we reached the top it was decided that the other 2 would go on to Beinn na Caillich. S and I went down and this was the best view we got on the way down. We had lunch and then drove to Kylerhea, and walked to the otter hide to wait for the others. There were a couple of people there enthusiastically describing their otter sightings, and showing us where one still was. We stayed and looked the other way where there were a couple of otters, one of which was fishing along the shore. Luckily our friend arrived when it was still visible. A good end to the day.
