Not the norm

This photo suggests a semblance of being ready for the morning - ha! Our weekday mornings start reluctantly, slowly, sleepily and always after one too many presses of the snooze button.  They escalate rapidly into shouted requirements for missing bits of uniform, always always hunting for a school sock, hurry up, hurry UP, drink your milk, do your hair, go, go, GO! Exiting the house , thwarting the opportunistic dogs, is chaotic, school bag, music bag, PE bag, fruit, water bottle, dont fight, spelling tests and signing forms on the run to be there before the late book starts.  On my walk home I am genuinely amazed no one awaits me just round the corner with a medal!
