Agapanthus again, TT88. My Garden
If you look at yesterdays blip you will see it is just one floret of an Agapanthus. The extra is the tiny centre of a hydrangea. They are about the size of a plastic pin head prior to opening and then out springs this delightful centre. If you want to pick them you have to wait for that centre to open. Once it does you can put them in a vase with water and they will eventually dry out and sit all winter. I love having them inside at that stage.
It has been so hot here today, Timaru reached 32 and we are always a few degrees hotter out here at Pleasant Point. That 20 k's inland makes a difference. It also makes us a few degrees colder in winter as well.
