In flagrante delicto

Every other day, when people put their trash out, hosts of black vultures darken the sky and descend upon our town. They feast on the garbage, and by the time the trash is collected, it is spread all over the streets. 
I have tried to photograph the vultures dozens of times, and even though these giant birds are not shy at all and allow you to come up close, I haven't been able to take a satisfying picture that captures their defiant nature. This is my first more or less successful shot.
