BIG BLADE

My first extra of the year . . . and a visit to the UK City of Culture . . . Kingston upon Hull. Two images because I could not find the best angle to record this achievement.
A few days ago this 75 metre long wind turbine blade landed in Queen Victoria Square as part of the celebrations. It will remain here until 18th March.
Siemens make these blades in a brand new wind turbine blade manufacturing factory, opened in December 2016, a mile away from here.
Ooops . . . the City Council forgot to apply to themselves for Planning Permission for this structure . . . so they have made a retrospective application. Oh dear . . . that will put the wind up somebody . . . hehe  . . .
As for football and the transfer window . . . no comment !
