Garden Lobby

Working in the Scottish Parliament is always a delight. A beautifully designed building with some great angles and curves that are a photographers dream.

The above picture looks down the wooden bannister to the Garden Lobby. This is the main thoroughfare for the Parliament, linking MSPS offices to the canteen, coffee bar but most importantly the Committee Rooms and the Debating Chamber.

For Scots that watch Reporting Scotland, the bannister and steps often form the backdrop to live reports from Parliament. In the distance you might be able to make out the BBC's kit, waiting to be erected for broadcast.
