Whereas in the olden days it was a thousand men with picks and spades overseen by a handful of managers, nowadays it seems the other way round - Huddles of men in hard hats with clip boards and hi-vis vests pointing yonder and talking earnestly whilst a couple of blokes in diggers do the donkey work.
