Waiting for the perfect wave

Day off and a very wet start to the day.
Round about lunchtime the rain went off and the sky started to clear.
We made the decision to go out to Glenbarr for lunch and have a walk on Westport Beach after lunch.
It turned out to be a good decision and Maeve had a lovely time on  the  empty beach.
There was a lone surfer out enjoying the waves today who I caught (just ) in this shot.
My extra is the view we had towards Machrihanish.
