Different diaries

I wanted to check something so I dug out my old diaries from 1983-92. I used to write daily then and I see from 31st January 1983 that the law making the wearing of seat belts compulsory came into force on that day, and it was six years since  I took over my business on 31st January 1977 - just 3 days after my first nephew was born - he is now 40 and has children of his own. Got carried away reading these old entries of the minutiae of my day to day working life - didn't find what I started out looking for, of course!  Fast forward to today - I no longer write a daily diary - I take a daily Blip! I have them printed with the comments - so I still, in effect, will have a diary to browse through when I am an 'old lady' !
