New life

I ventured out today for the first time in several days, heading to Endless Weekend's house to water her houseplants while she is relaxing in Hawaii.  The first thing I saw when I pulled up was that the heather in her front garden was covered with new pink florets, just lovely.  The angle of the sun, however, prevented me from getting an acceptable blip photo.  But everything in her gardens is showing signs of new life, including this plant, which is putting out lots of buds.  This being Tiny Tuesday, I though I'd share this close-up of one of the larger buds and its stem.

It felt good to be out in the sun, breathing fresh, if cold, air.  But it feels great now to be home nursing my cough with hot tea.
