Just a touch of Blue

After yesterdays heat today was much cooler and the wind wasn't as strong. We got a very brief shower of rain.. not enough to wet the garden.

I started clearing out the kitchen cupboards this morning. This afternoon I went and had my hair cut. I girl that cut it last time wasn't there this week and I had the one who cut it before. I did say I wanted it a little  shorter .. it is really short and it will take a while to get use to it.

Just before 5pm I got a phone call from my specialist to ask how I was and to tell me my blood test results. My blood count should be around 5 or under and mine was 9, even after just about three weeks of antibiotics. It was higher than the first results. He is rather worried and wants me to take more antibiotics as soon as possible. When I see him next Wednesday he will arrange another MRI with the dye for me. He must have be worried to ring me personally!

I have plans to go to Akaora to morrow night until Tuesday, as we have friends that are staying in Akaroa for a few days and wanted to visit us there. I will have to keep an eye on my temperature as it was rather high today and being on my own over there, it is a little bit of worry. John said he was too busy to go over and his friends were a little upset he wasn't going to be there.
