Too much! But eventually, I mean how long does it take to choose a ball of wool for a pair of socks? I went for the Hacho Merino in purples and pinks and a bit of blue, and oh, it's gorgeous. Though G would never understand why I have spent the same amount that would buy five pairs of socks in M&S, on just the wool to make them. So I have eaten the receipt.
