Urban Swamp

Hidden away on my doorstep Gruffalo swamp on the site of a former Bleach Works on the border of Heaton Chapel and Levenshulme in Highfield Country Park looks lost in time. Neglected paths, fallen trees over footpaths and plenty of mud make for a quiet lunchtime walk. 

I'll take a pair of wellies next time.
