Imbolc

Welcome Spring! Ok, so it's still a bit bleary and grey out there, but step outside your door and the greening is begun. Bulbs are shooting up, snowdrops already in full flower, the hedgerows are filled with birds again and the winter, though it may yet bite us, is over.

And I for one am not a bit sad about it. I think spring is my favourite of the four seasons, albeit they're all a bit muddled nowadays. The climate is in rebellion, and with good reason. May we learn to live with it, and address the root causes of its distress, and come to peace.

So hail February, month of purification, month of mud and cabbages! :-)
