WildWednesday: Beginnings

The Red-shouldered Hawks at the DogPark are beginning to construct this year's nest. I just caught this one with a small branch in it's beak as it flew over. We haven't located the exact tree with the beginnings of their nest. It seems a bit early for them to start, last year they were building at the end of March.  But...Mother knows best!
