Today's Blip is the exact opposite of yesterday's. I went along to Dunollie House and the kind housekeeper took me up to the castle and unlocked the gate for me. Well worth going up to see when it opens in April - the stonework has been stabilised and the sycamore saplings removed from around the site, allowing a perfect view for the first time in ages.

Another sunny afternoon just when it was wanted - you can see the Dog Stone and the Dunollie Lighthouse far below on either side of the road.
