Yayoi Kusama at HAM

I lost my mobile phone/blip camera today! We arrived in Helsinki well in time for the Kusama Exhibition at HAM - a psychedelic experience with all those dots.

After that we went to see the exhibition at Kiasma: deeply moving, tragic photographs by Meeri Koutaniemi and work by Mona Hatoum in the same vein, maybe with some humour there as well. Impressive.

This blip photo is from the Modigliani exhibition (that we saw the next day), but it nicely presents the portrait of a strong woman, just as all the female artists whose work we saw today. - Well, today (1 Feb) the picture was replaced by a picture of Yayoi Kusama in one of her works of art. The strong women theme persists.
