Song Thrush.

On a really soggy day while cycling to Hampton through the park I was delighted to see this song thrush perched on a tree stump.

Good news folks - I phoned The Swan Sanctuary today and was told that our two swans are doing well. The swan who was mauled by the dog was not as severely injured as was first thought. She has multiple bites, and has lost a lot of plumage but her wings are fine. Both will be released when they are well again, probably not in Bushy Park ponds, but in the Thames near Kingston Bridge. This was such good news.
