Avoidance of naff

Youngest son and I went along to the Norie Miller park this evening to try and get some photos of the light show. I took what I thought were some quite nice shots across the river with the starburst effect on my camera. However, when I put them up on the screen eldest son said, and I quote, 'why have you done that? It looks really naff.' So instead I give you a waterfall taken with a slow shutter speed.
