Cromlet

For various reasons, this was my first Wednesday walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers this year. Our 13km walk took us from Braco and up towards Cromlet Hill. However, as we neared the summit of Cromlet (405m) the mist returned and we decided not to bother going all the way to the top.

A stop for lunch instead, before we returned via another route downhill to Braco. Our social stop for coffee & cake was at the Rapha soft play (for children!) and holistic therapy (for adults) centre.

A generally overcast day with a couple of rain showers thrown in for good measure. Of course, just as we left the Rapha coffee shop the sun came through and patches of blue sky started to appear.
