Bicycle Repair Man

That's one of the names Igor answers to. 

These are the new spin shoes I got for my birthday. The metal bits clip my feet to the pedals of the bike. They have to be in exactly the right place for maximum efficiency and to prevent damage to knees, feet, hips and ankles. It takes a while to find that position. Every time I wear them I come home to Bicycle Repair Man with a new instruction: forward a bit, back a bit, twist to the left, twist to the right......

We're almost there. They've just been moved 2 mm back and I'm hoping that at last we've got them in the correct place.

They'll be tested tomorrow morning.
