Up the creek

This is Cheese Creek. If you watch Hell on Wheels, it was about this area (filmed in Alberta, just South of Calgary) so I rather liked the first season or two. Cheese creek (there was a creamery in the area) is a link to the pioneer times (the Oregon Trail runs right by) and there may have been a trading post nearby. We will see how far she rises in the Spring....
