Drifting

Have had several days of high winds and the powdery snow is ideal for making life difficult with quite serious drifting.

Had done our morning walk in the forest in the background but took a path I doidn't know and ended up having to do a substantial part in deep snow on the edge. Here a short video.


The stream flows past our house and is now as good as totally frozen over but warnings are constantly being put out on the radio for people not to go on to lakes yet. Apparently one needs about a 10cm thick layer.
