Rancid - Indestructible and Sonic Youth - Day Dream Nation

Well I never, is this the same man who refused to do a Prince Harry just a few days ago? Why yes it is. But obviously when it comes to posing with newly designed facial hair, well that's different, and he will leave his hat on but not a lot else!

You might be wondering how this relates to today's challenge. Well part 1: Two years ago we went for the second time to the End of the Road Festival, himself was inspired by all the facial hair, and after we returned from the festival I realised (with horror) that a few days non-shaving at the festival had turned into a full-on beard. I have an indestructible belief that kissing when there are moustaches involved is rancid. There you go, not just the album, but the band too.

Well on Friday my Aunt and Uncle were due to arrive and himself stepped out of the shower looking as unshaven as he had stepped into it. I pulled the 'what would your mother say' card, which normally prompts suitable amounts of shaving. But he smiled and said that he had trimmed, but this was all in preparation for End of the Road. Thankfully he wasn't very impressed with his beard - too much white - itchy - and decided to remodel his facial hair. I am pleased to say that the 'model' captured here was not the final attempt - but can leave you with the image that it got worse before it got better...

End of the Road is one of our very happy places. It is a small (5000) or so festival from which firm musical favourites and discoveries have been made over the past few years. We head off tomorrow. So this is also day dream nation. It is a place where my daydreams are made.

I bought the tickets for both our christmas (last year) and birthday presents (this year) how you get away with spending a lot of money that you haven't really agreed to as a couple as a bit of an impulse a year ago. So pleased I did.

I need to write down the album titles for the challenge whilst we are away and will be back blipping on our return.
