Not a day for admiring the view

We had a trip to see the nurse this morning to ensure our inoculations were up to date for a forthcoming trip. We walked along the sea front on our return and noticed the estuary was looking rather different to usual. It has been completed flooded with the tide.
We used to live right on the coast with a fantastic view but I was pleased today that we are now far enough away to not have to worry about strong winds and high tides.
