As the sunlight fades over Pontoise...

So i got a belated christmas present in the form of a Garmin Nuvi 250W which seems to be a pretty competent little GPS. Decided to take it for a test spin and try to get myself lost.

Ended up a few miles from the house here, on the top of a plateau which used to be an old air base in WWII and is now a Small commercial airport.

So here i am, temps reaching below 0, the ground frozen solid, i figure sodit, lemme get the tripod out and see what i can get....

Not to shabby if i do say so myself!?
