" AT LAST "
I have always wanted an Eternity Ring having been married for nearly 48 years, (you don't get that for murder!!). And due to circumstances this is it.
My wedding ring had to be cut off back in November as it was damaging my knuckle joint. Having been told to wait a few months for it to recover, we dutifully returned to the jeweller in Truro to discuss what to do next. Many years ago, whilst living back in Hampshire I purchased a second hand ring which was very unusual mainly because of the 10 large diamonds. I paid £400 for it and it has sat in my jewellery box for years.
The above ring has been designed for me and the extra gold went into the wedding ring too. I cannot do the brilliance of the stones justice but you get the idea. He didn't charge too much either so he is now looking at my original engagement ring which has sadly worn away.
It was my youngest Son's birthday yesterday and as he is not speaking to me again, I felt quite emotional. We can only love them!!
Very bad weather here today with worse expected tomorrow. The rain comes down sideways and the gales are gusting at over 80mph.
So I will continue cutting glass, knitting and I'm going to pickle some red cabbage. That will keep me busy.
Hugs to you all. xxxx
