Lambs Tails

Still off work today but I got a few jobs done on the phone and the internet including booking NFL tickets for Wembley for September and sitting out cheaper car insurance for my mother.

Managed a short walk in the rain this morning and took a couple of photos.

Pretty sure I remember my grandmother calling these lambs tails. I'm not great on plants but I'm assuming these are hazel catkins. It is a really positive sight at this time of year.

Looking forward to another day off tomorrow and then my youngest son coming home for the weekend. :-)
