Hanging From The Rafters, London
I've had a strange few days work wise, from photographing 46 centuries old portrait paintings to works worth millions of pounds. The portrait paintings actually took much longer to photograph - I had to clean thick dust off every one of them to try to make them look the best they possibly could. I was proud of the final result after all the effort.
The very valuable paintings were easier to shoot but it does feel very strange handling a work of art that is worth more than you will ever earn in several lifetimes!
Today's shot is of another "ghost" building very close to where I work. All that is left is the facade - all the floors, stairs and roof are gone, right down to the foundations. I don't quite understand the logic of the constructed lie. It's an empty shell that will have a completely modern rebuilt centre - odd and faintly depressing.
Today's extra shot is a hymn to the power of red.
