Tohloppi

Today's walk route was designed by Susanna, we had nice long walk at her neighbourhood. Accidentally I seem to have an "on ice" series going on - on Monday  I was on ice of Vähäjärvi lake, On Tuesday on ice of Näsijärvi lake, on Wednesday on ice of  Suolijärvi lake and today on ice of Tohloppi lake. In the picture is the lake Tohloppi's ice swimming hole. Ice swimming is very popular - there are nine ice swimming places in Tampere, six of them with sauna. In Pirkkala we have two places for ice swimming.

Finland has received the top score in the Freedom in the World 2017 index. Freedom in the World assesses the real-world rights and freedoms enjoyed by individuals. This latest report evaluated 195 countries and 14 territories during the calendar year 2016. A series of 25 indicators were used to determine the freedom of each country and territory, with Finland, Norway and Sweden receiving the maximum score of 100.

The report is published by US Government-funded NGO Freedom House.
